Saddle Time

Because i was so bored in the paddock mum decided it was time to put a saddle on me. I didn't even care when i got girthed up tight and i quietly wandered around the yard with the saddle on and bridle and boots on my legs. I love having the attention!!

I can jump

Well i have been taped off in my paddock with a lane between Oliver and me and Digby with hot tape, when Mum came out this morning she was rather suprised to see me in the lane grazing with the tape still up, ha I jumped it!!

My Birthday

I turned 2 on Wed 14th Jan..... I'm so grown up now. I tye up and come in every night and lead and go on the float!! Whats next?

Ok Sunday 11 Jan, Neville Hughes came over as Oliver was being a little cheeky and he had to load Cassandra's yearling on truck, well while he was there Mum thought she better check i still loaded ok. I don't see what those other horses problem was, why wouldn't you just walk straight on? I showed them how it was done. Then Mum decided it was time i learnt to tye up so I did, when i got to the end of the lead i just stood there. I did this the next day too, i was a little bored so i put my leg over the rope, got a bit tangled but i just stood there and looked at my mum. What did she expect me to do, throw a tantrum? No, that would be too much effort.

Christmas Time is GREAT

Wow, I love Christmas, we get so many visitors and Mum and Scott are around all the time!! I am in the front paddock so I just stand at the gate all day if I see that they are home until I get attention. Scott's niece and nephew came out and what fun they were!! I stood at the gate the whole time demanding attention, they all think I'm the smartest horse around because I can untie leadropes and when they try to ignore me I stick my front foot on the gate and bang it until someone comes. Mum has started bringing me in at night so I'm like a real grownup and it gives Digby a good break. I think I'm more human than horse......

My favourite past time

is to rip my friends covers, i've done two so far!! I also am in love with Mum's boyfriend Scott, i love to kiss him and lick his face. Mum has a new horse Oliver who is more fun than my paddock mate Digby he wants to play all the time so we play over the fence a lot. I'm pretty tough and stand up for myself even though he's huge because there is a fence between us. I'm sure i'm still Mum's favourite though as she keeps telling me i'm her next superstar!!

Moving

As Marianne likes to move a lot I have moved from one grazing in Waiuku to another, then to Hamilton, then back to Waiuku and then another place in Waiuku and finally i think she has settled in Clevedon, here are some photos of me when i was one year old and living in Hamilton

Came into the world Jan 14 2007

Well my Mum Chelsea didn't wax up much and my other human Mum Marianne was off to a show at 5 in the morning and didn't know i'd even been born until she got home, lucky i'm so clever that there were no issues at all which is good for Chelseas's first time!! My dad is Duval who is a Distelfink/Dynamit Stallion up north and my mum is a TB by Mellifont.
